Looking for the information on our Members' Only Photoshop Course hosted via Zoom? This is a new offering. Starting this fall in September, David Braitsch, Charlie Bartolotta, Jeff Hayward, & Billy Callaghan will be co-hosting a Photoshop Course via Zoom on alternate Wednesdays at 7PM. A comparison of the camera bodies and thoughts on Mirrorless vs DSLR. Plus we’ll review competition submission guidelines and Dave Braitsch will introduce our new online Photoshop course.

Critique Night #1
Cell Phone Pictures Only
Take lots of cell phone pictures over the summer. For this critique we will only discuss your Cell phone shots both edited or unedited with cell phone editing apps. It will be FUN to see what everyone does with their phone.
Members submit 1-3 digital images. Deadline for image upload is Saturday, September 13 at 11:59 pm.

Still Life Photography

Charlie will illustrate and describe the items and the lighting that I use to create a still life photograph. This program will demonstrate how still life images can be created without expensive equipment using simple setups and lighting.

Bring your camera- as a follow-up to Charlie’s program- and shoot still life set-ups. Table top options will be prepared or you can create your own with available supplies.

We will meet at 6:30 pm in Cummings Room for a holiday pot-luck while Hazel shares tips on Nik. The Nik Collection a photo editing plugin intended for use with a host application, such as Adobe Photoshop & Lightroom.

Dorothy Ralph Photo Essay Competition - Submissions Due
There is no restriction as to the subject. All digital images must be the original work of the club member. The essay includes a concise statement of purpose that does not exceed 150 words. The essay must contain from 12 to 20 images. The final video must not exceed 2.5 minutes. For questions or help in creating an essay, contact Mary Lou Frost.

A panel of 3 judges will score your selected images from this season and choose 1st, 2nd & 3rd place overall in each category. Deadline for image upload is Saturday, May 2 at 11:59 pm.
